The Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition for creative professionals founded with the goal of recognizing “outstanding work in the industry while promoting the philanthropic nature of marketing and communications professionals.”
In 2015 alone the judges received over 6,000 entries from around the world – one of which was the cataract blindness awareness video DePalma Productions created in partnership with the HelpMeSee organization for their 2014 Giving Tuesday campaign. We were thrilled to learn the result of our efforts was a Gold Winner in the Hermes Creative Awards video category.
The video, which incorporated a series of on-the-street-style interviews, followed blindfolded HelpMeSee staff members as they tried to perform everyday tasks that the sighted take for granted. While DePalma Productions is most grateful for this wonderful recognition of our hard work, we are equally appreciative of the opportunity to partner with HelpMeSee in creating awareness for such worthy cause.
